Green Bay Location

Legacy Funeral Chapels, originally a Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, has been serving the Asian community since 2007 under the name of Legacy Gathering Center. While continuing to honor the customs and fulfill the funeral needs of Asian community, the renamed funeral home – Legacy Funeral Chapel – also provides personalized funeral services to people of all faiths and of any heritage.

Although the name has changed, the commitment to families who are grieving remains the same.

Located at 838 S. Fisk St., Green Bay, Legacy Funeral Chapel is a clean, modern facility large enough to accommodate a crowd. On-site parking, first-floor restrooms and the no-stairs entryway make Legacy Funeral Chapel accessible and convenient to all.

The facility is the only funeral home in Green Bay with onsite banquet facilities, allowing family and friends the opportunity to participate in a funeral service then socialize around the banquet table without having to leave the building. This is especially convenient on rainy or wintry days when it’s better to stay indoors.
Recent improvements at the facility have created a welcoming and comfortable environment for people to gather to remember a loved one in their own way. Families are encouraged to create a send-off that is unique and meaningful.

Those seeking a traditional funeral experience of quiet and reverence will find the funeral home to be a peaceful haven for their grieving. Yet the building also has the potential for other types of remembrance events, including casual gatherings, with hors d’oeuvres and a time to mingle and share stories. The funeral home can be compared to a blank canvas which families are invited to paint. Families are encouraged to display memorabilia that reflects the life of the deceased, and they’re invited to work with the experienced and compassionate staff to create a meaningful and unique farewell service.

Legacy Funeral Chapel is located on the West Side of Green Bay and is convenient for residents in the Greater Green Bay community, including Suamico, Pulaski, Howard, Ashwaubenon, Hobart, and De Pere.

The staff of Legacy Funeral Chapel believes every person’s life is unique, and every person deserves a personalized farewell.
